Everyone wants to belong. Everyone wants a space where they are known and accepted. But it can be hard to find those places, places where connections are made and even harder to figure out how to create them in our own home.

 At Poiema, our mission is to inspire others through offering beautifully, curated lifestyle and home decor items, hosting classes to teach new skills or hobbies in a warm and friendly atmosphere and to demonstrate the intamacy created and experienced through a shared meal.

Emily - Candle Maker

I'm a mom of two beautiful and spirited little girls and wife to Jon. They love to help me choose scents for my candles, stir wax and package items. We also love to host both strangers and friends in our home and are always looking for ways to share a meal with others. When I'm not making candles or working on my book, you can find me sharing a cup of coffee or a glass of wine with a friend or reading.
